Happiness
To feel, to hear, to touch, to see happiness...
It's
gentle words, thoughtfulness, kindness,
playfulness,
A hug full of
warmth,
Holding hands,
and a kiss on my fingertips,
Gazing into a
newborn baby's eyes,
The Love of God and hope and faith,
Morning sunshine
that streams across my bed,
Dancing on the beach in the moonlight,
The
simple gift of a single flower,
Sticky notes that show my blessings,
A
little child's smiles and giggles,
with messy kisses and big squeezes,
A
heartfelt poem that makes me cry,
And romance in regency novels,
Sunsets
and lightning storms in the desert,
Music with words that stir my
senses,
Walking hand in hand ,
And talking about everything and
anything,
The scent of pine after it rains,
The time to do whatever I
want,
The luscious creamy taste of chocolate,
Creating art out of
anything,
Families and sweet, unconditional love,
A friend who shares and
cares how I am feeling,
Big, yellow ,smiley faces on my emails,
A soft
caress, skin to skin,
A warm, wet, passionate kiss,
Writing all my deepest
thoughts,
Just being appreciated for who I really am,
And happiness gives
me a reason
to wake up every morning.
