I Found You
I found you once
in a phrase
that intrigued me
And I
pursued you
not in conscious effort
Nevertheless, I captured your
heart
And you stole mine
My heart, my soul, my mind
I was lost in your
words
Your poetry stirred me
Every sentence you wrote
Pulled me in and
closer to you
Yet, I am blind
You are like a phantom
Someone I can't
see or touch
Invisible to me
Just words in a window
or a voice in my
ear
Where are you
I'm not even sure
where you are
I often think
about you
I know you are far away from me
Yet, you, you know my
name
You know my number
and right where I live
You found me easily
I
am real to you
but you create the fantasy
and talk of hopeless, future
things
Yet, you are like a daydream to me
Imaginary and incredible
And
my heart longs for reality
My heart cries for the impossible
And tears
leak from my eyes
I put my trust in you
And still I deeply feel the
pain
We choose to talk and share our souls
When there is time away from
obligations
We take a measure of happiness
when we speak of love of
life
and caring and love for each other
And then, we play the
games
that make us laugh and smile
and sometimes cry in the
moment
Sadly, it is fleeting
The moments pass quickly
It is not enough
for us
We crave and hunger more
Doubting and questioning
what is the
truth
And then we fear the truth
We seek for answers
but they evade
us
or we just can't find them
In the fog of our minds
And the
rollercoaster races on
And we must remain belted in, restricted
And
seemingly finding pleasure in the ride
Accepting what we cannot
change
Finding joy in the instant
however we can.![]()

Tanglewood
I dream of
you
Is it That
Love...
I'm Thinking of
you
My Knight
I Felt Your
Warmth
My Journey
I'm Lost
Darkstone
My Heart
I Love you
because...
My Children
An Everchanging
Path
My Daughter
Miss
Sunshine
Sam's Dreams
Angel
My Little
Guy
