Is It That Love...

Is it that love can thaw a gelid heart,
When trust is gone and lives are torn apart?

In moments, I'm encased in frigid ice,
I need the warmth that burns within your eyes.

You close your eyes to quench the rising fires,
Secretly, circling me, the snow conspires.

Eternal Winter steals the intense heat,
In the silence, the prison is complete.

Can glacial heart with sudden passion melt,
Through sea of flames, ignite the light it felt?

The blazing, searing, ardent heart must fall,
And liquify the frozen, crystal wall.
