My Children

Sweetest angels boldly venture here,
despite the wombs tremendous labor pains.
And we begin to shed an aching tear
because the greater suffering remains.

Oh precious children pure and small and meek,
I yearn that I might give my common blood
to succor you when you are ill and weak
And prove completely how much you are loved.

Just knowing that you perfect gifts were sent,
our Father, God, entrusted you to me,
the Holy Spirit comes, the comfort's lent.
And we are healed with miracles. I see!

My Children, your love blesses me in strife.
Joy fills my heart with gratitude for life.
