My Journey

Wailing, kicking, groaning,
I began my journey.
Confused, dazed, moaning,
Looking for the way that I should go.
Banging, bumping, bashing,
into thick, hard walls surrounding the kid.
Crying, screaming, smashing,
Singing- walls are crashing down around me.

Wandering, wondering, waiting,
I am at the crossroads.
Reflecting, fearing, debating,
Why am I unworthy and not good enough?
Stretching, wrestling, dancing,
Cradled high on arms, in fields of gold.
Shouting, laughing, enhancing,
I am powerful, passionate, loving, and creative.

Climbing, falling, leaping,
into my horizon and my dreams.
Trusting, soaring, reaching,
powerfully coming home and finding me.
Being, keeping, living,
I will be your angel and your friend.
Serving, sharing, loving,
with my heart, I will change the world.
